#1 - BEGIN WITH A FOCUSED SEARCH Don't just Google something like "find a ghostwriter." Use keywords that narrow down the search, such as:  * "book ghostwriter" * "memoir ghostwriter" * "bestselling ghostwriter" * "ghostwriter in Los Angeles"

#2 - USE NEGATIVE SEARCH WORDS On the Google Advanced Search Page, use the "none of these words" box to eliminate the kinds of writers you don't want. You might type in "cheap" to eliminate low-end writers. Or "academic" to elminate overly-scholarly writers.

#3 - LOOK AT OTHER BOOKS Check the author credit on the cover of books you like. If “with” or “and” appears before one of the author names, there’s a good chance that person is a ghostwriter. You can look up the ghostwriter online.
